Dr Christiane Northrup interview on health

A highly-recommended interview with Dr Christiane Northrup.

Dr Northrup has a very simple way of understanding the difference between the commonly-accepted "germ theory" versus that of "terrain theory", basically (paraphrasing) "You have a fish tank with dirty water. The goldfish gets sick. With germ theory you vaccinate the fish, with terrain theory, you clean the water".

Nice you nailed it, great to be here and I think that was the short version.

I'm so grateful to have you here. You've been in this field for a long time, I'm so grateful that you agreed, and I'm so grateful as we kind of talked where we're kind of in a couple groups together. I came across your work sharing a video on cognitive dissonance and I was like, thank you, like we need these people who really know health and medicine to be speaking up right now, and I'm just I'm so grateful that you're having the courage to share, and I feel like especially in our culture, women leaders, you know more than ever, (need) to be up front and center, you know speaking about current events and what's happening in our world. So I'll leave it at that and just get you to share a little bit about your history how you you know some of the amazing work that you've done and what you're doing now and what you're seeing going on in the world and we'll get into all the craziness you and I are both witnessing.

Well you know my kids are now in their 30s and I knew from the work of Keith Block way way way back that all the major diseases for which vaccines were developed - measles, mumps, polio - they were all those those curves, those epidemiologic curves, everything was on the way down. Those diseases were going away when the vaccine was introduced and I also know from my work in public health that it is, it's sanitation, it's hope, it's education, it's clean water, that's what has led to the decrease in childhood diseases.

So my first daughter who's now late 30s got DPT at the age of six weeks, like you're supposed to and she screamed for two days and developed a giant welt on her butt, (and) still has a ding there and and because of the work that I had done with the natural movement with Michio Kushi and macrobiotics and and Dr. Keith Block who was recently featured in the radical remission series by Dr Kelly Turner.
